I have invested in 15+ NFT projects so far, currently, my profits are +198% in total.
Some projects have gone well, some haven't. It's challenging to find the right projects to invest in.

To the other NFT investors, this won't be news but pretty obvious, but I thought I'd post it anyways for the beginners.

Without further due, here are my 5 cents on finding profitable:

Use the right tools
There is a bunch of shitty NFT tools out there. Choose a good one that doesn't list any project, because 99% of them are trash.
I use https://nfthud.io/ and http://icy.tools/ but there is also free alternatives such as https://nft-scout.io/ and manually going through Opensea.io

Look carefully at the project details
I focus mostly on the following:
  • The team behind the project. If the team is anonymous, then there's no way I invest.
  • The artwork matters, most of the time. While some shitty art has made good profits (take for example stoner apes club) I still don't invest in projects where the art is bad.
  • Utility & roadmap. Read it carefully, if it's gibberish or holds no value, then think about it twice.

Don't look too much at Twitter followers, Discord members etc, that's easy to buy (But you already know that since you're here).

That's it for now, thought I would write a quick few notes, hope it's useful for somebody even though I haven't spent 50 hours on writing it :)

Thank you for the tools.

I look at the discord activity to see the project has a supportive community or not. If the community is supportive then the project will surely do good.

Yeah same, sadly there is a lot of people filling up the channels with bots (both project creators as well as people who try to get whitelisted)

Yeah, that's also the problem. And People exchange invites for the sake of whitelists.

Yup there is a huge amount of scams/people trying to "hack" the NFT community to get easy whitelisted.
If it isn't for that, it'd be pretty easy to invest in NFTs tbh

Sometimes team is public bu the details they give are fake. How do you find this out ?

this is easy, find them on linkedin or any other social platform...

i personally have seen 1 project where the whole team is doxxed but 0 presence elsewhere matching their names.... this is massive redflag

What works for some doesn't always work for others, which is why guides like this are great you also need to do your own research.

Are you personally bullish on metaverse tokens?
I think SAND could perform well (Just like AXS did)

Metaverse is a lazy utility imo: basically create a 3D model so it can be used in Metaverse and for games.
The issue is we have no idea when Metaverse is released, or when it'll become relevant.

But a lot of successful projects has that as utility, so it's undeniable a "good" utility, compared to what else exists right now.
So yes and no :D

To the ones who's interested, you can follow the projects I invest in on Twitter @DresenDash
I've just invested in Galyverse and considering MonoLocco (I'm skeptical about this one though)

@Linkbutler while I am far behind you in the NFT game would love to hear what are your thoughts on https://flolio.com we have been using them for a few weeks now

Even that can be faked. One can buy aged Linkedin original accounts.
