My 2016 reading list - help me add to it!

I only read non fiction but I loved rich dad poor dad and no excuses by brian tracy. Also the power of now by ekhart tollee

Seconding 'You are the placebo'. Shit is cray, does sound like hippy bullshit at first but he breaks it all down with science. Talks about how powerful belief really is with recorded studies and how you can use it to change your life for the better.

One part talks about how your brain doesn't know the difference between something vividly visualised and real life, so it takes the visualisation to be reality and responds with bodily changes accordingly (neurotransmitters, stem cells, actual physical skill changes shown in studies etc). Obviously this can work for or against you depending whether you take control or not. Haven't finished it yet but there's a lot more interesting stuff too.

7 habits of highly successful people - The insights here are RIDICULOUSLY good and they're EVERYWHERE. Mad value.

Psycho-cybernetics (Original version) - Probably the best self-improvement book i've read so far. It's written by a plastic surgeon who wanted to gain insight into the self-image. Also talks about using visualisation to rewire the brain manually. LOADS of other positive insights on other things too. It's like a compilation of many good things i've seen in other books. I basically underlined the whole book, gonna have to go over it again.

For eastern philosophy - Eckhart tolle - A new earth - Some groundbreaking shit here if you haven't been exposed to any of the ideas before and a good read even if you have. Has helped me out a lot in terms of easing suffering.

I am not sure if you are going to love this or hate it blindly, but here they are:

August Senoa - 'The Goldsmiths Treasure'
Miroslav Krleza 'On the edge of reason'
Marija Juric Zagorka - 'The Witch of Gric'

All are old and very good, but I am not sure what you looking for exactly.
