I've been a long time lurker of these forums, and decided to bite the bullet and develop my first site.
I went with a niche that I am very knowledgeable about, and put up reviews on books I've read. I just started my SEO and have had the site up now for 2-3 days. I've gotten around 80 visitors so far.
My question is: What are the average conversion rates for review sites? Obviously my goal is to have readers buy the books I am reviewing.
This was my 1st attempt to make any type of income online (in the past 10 years) - it was a little different back then
