Update on this method: if you use the smaller classified sites to post your redirect links (links back to amazon affiliate) you can then place links to the smaller classified ads on your larger classified sites like Craigslist. I've only posted a few ads and I'm not getting any traffic and no purchases thru amazon. Granted I've only posted a handful of ads and there is a lot of redirecting of the traffic to get potential buyers to the Amazon linked products. This probably keeps people from even bothering.
It's only been a few hours however. Lots of tedious work to post these ads, I suggest people trying this pick their products wisely to offset the amount of groundwork you'll need to do. As I stated earlier I haven't even gotten a click on the links yet according to analytics.
Im also curious as to how many ads you have to post, and also how you are making the offers more attractive (I offered free shipping) But if we can't compete with other sellers prices, (why would they buy a DVD from Amazon when someone is selling it on Craigslist for cheaper)

Has anyone been able to make any money off of this method yet?
This is awesome!! So would you create a new email for each different advertisement? I noticed on craigslist that they now require you to associate a phone number with text/call verification. Is there any way around this? Is it anything I should be concerned with?

But just to ask. Posting of craiglist is listing is only for own country, right?
If we are not able to post to our country or state and if our country is small, wouldn't it be very hard to make money?

How many adverts would you say you posted to achieve what you have achieved so far?
I used this method some weeks ago. not with Amazon but with EPN
I got 600 inquiries in 2 days and replied to them with auto-responder. Telling them it has already been sold and they could find similar items at my link. So: 600 inquiries gave me 3 (!) hits to my affiliate link and 0 (!) sales. So you will get inquiries but NO conversions.
Also my ad was flagged and my ad account was banned after 2 days. Some idiots who simply could not read kept on responding bullshit and flagged my ad. If you got an email telling you the item is sold why in the world you respond again with "can you give it for cheaper" or "I could come and take it in person as you are in the same city".
Without using an autoresponder there is no chance, who has time to manually reply to 600 emails.

I used this exact method and posted 6 advertisements on CL. Just to test the method I went ahead and manually replied to each email by copying and pasting the same message to each person. Now I twisted the hell outa this method. I did not get 600 inquiries. However, I did get around 100 and these are my results with those 100. Hell, I even accidentally used the CL relay on some of them. Could make alot more than $10/day with this method. It is very time consuming and has little reward. I am going to phase 2 it and let you all know the results. Obviously you are seeing a CPA screenie so now you know how im monetizing this method. Hope this helps anyone else trying to do this.

Try using an autoresponder message (or Gmail vacation responder) instead of manually doing it. Ask them to drop you an email with their price/enquiry. It works. People go crazy when a negotiation is available and seems more real and high responses. Let me know the update if you try this twist. Love to learn from your journey.

I used autoresponder, this is why my ad account got banned. Some idiots could not read or could not understand "Sorry it is already sold, but you could get it evtl from here xxxxx" and replied again with useless mails like "Can you offer it for cheaper?" or even "Hello?". So they got the same autoresponder email for their senseless follow-up mail and so they reported the ad.
