Mutiple subjects in the same post

hello,
I have a news section in my blog, mostly short news ( 150 to 200 words) so i take 3 or 4 of them and put them in the same post and make the post title and the permalink for the one with the most count of word which is the fist one. can this hurt me?

It can't hurt you. But why not make single larger articles?

because they are just short news and there's not really much to say just like flash news so putting 150 words in one post will not look nice. so i just group them into one single post and make something like news1 news2 news3 ...... but the title is for the first news which has usually the most word count.

I think it should be fine. But adding a few more article and good content wouldn't hurt
