Even though they can't access your password, they can still ban your account.
(the account that generate the token)

If they token is lost, you can never access your password again.
If you do blackhat IM, then getting banned by google is inevitable.

I am just saying, no need to use demeaning words against me.
Remember the bhw rule:
"Treat Other Members With Respect". That apply to PM too.

I use a KeePass Portable version mainly to generate my passwords on-the-go.

This really shouldn't keep you from using KeePass because for me it takes 10-15 seconds (actually measured that for you) to bring KeePass up (mine is always in the taskbar, you can configure that in it's settings when setting up) using ALT+CTRL+K , to type in the master password and to click CTRL+F and to type in what I'm searching for and copy the password to my FTP manager.

If you can't spare 15 seconds every once in a while to copy a password but have a secure and hassle free password solution then this isn't for you :)

What is the benefit of keeping FTP passwords and stuff in keePass instead of the "Secure Notes" feature of Laspass. Thanks

That's a very good question HerbaL.

As far as security goes I would say probably none. The secure note is just as secure as any password stored in LastPass so there is no need for concern. It's a practical difference for me. I hit Ctrl+Alt+K (my shortcut for KeePass) and it pops up, I type in the password and copy the password into FTP. With LastPass I would have to go to the browser, open up the extension, search for the note, find, open, copy...you get the idea. It's just about connivence. If you'd rather just use one program (LastPass) it works just as well.
