    Hi guys.

Lets exchange our favorite, high-impact books on marketing and copywriting.

    I'll start:

    Breakthrough Advertising (Eugene Schwartz)
Collier Letter Book (Robert Collier, father of the dollar bill letter)
The Gary Halbert Letter (Google it)
Scientific Advertising (Claude Hopkins, of whom Ogilvy said: "No one should have
anything to do with marketing unless he read this book at least 7 times
    )

    Feel free to contribute.

I just bought Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki, after quite a few people recommended it to me...

    Otherwise I only read classics.

    Absolute MUST-READ:

    The richest man in Babylon

One that hasn't read this book or understood the ideas presented in it, seldom is one who prospers in terms of wealth.

The Ultimate Sales Letter by Kennedy is my favorite one. Best on this topic I guess.

Rich Dad Poor Dad is also very good, this book really opened my mind.

The Best Damn Sales Book Ever is nice (audiobook version at least)

Lots of good information and Warren Greshes is a great speaker, I've listened to the book at least five times now.

A few other favorites of mine (some aren't directly marketing or copywriting but will still be beneficial to anyone in our field):
Four Hour Workweek - Tim Ferriss
The magic of thinking big - david j schwartz
How to win friends and influence people - dale carnegie (and all of his other books)
think and grow rich - napoleon hill (and all of his other books :p)
rich dad poor dad - robert kiyosaki
rework - guys at 37signals, forgot names :/

If anyone wants more, PM me :p

Two of the books that has changed my way of acting, thinking and see the world around me:

    1) Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill
    2) The SunFood Success Diet System.

    1) The napoleon hill book is the one that motivated me start working and start earning money :) And much more stuff that i would write do much about but its really good.

    2) This book is about one of the most importsnt things in life: what you eat. This book, as many others, showed that eating organic foox is the best way to feed your body as their nutrients are conserved in comparison of gmos and pesticides.

Copywriter's handbook by Bob Bly is pretty great. Great, practical advice on how to get started in the field.

really good list and as supnatural said, rich dad poor dad is very insightful. There is also a century old book that I can't recall the name at the moment but it touches on the basic of why the wealthy remain wealthy and how your mentality should be to get money.

Negotiate This! by Herb Cohen (This changed how I looked at negotiating with people - must read if you buy or sell in a negotiation)
Cash flow quadrant - Robert Kiyosaki (This completely changed how I looked at people and the way they view money, really expanded my ability to see how to make money)
The Truth about Money - Ric Edelman (Helped me see money and the way it moves to different people, and destroyed many myths I had. I have about 20 bookmarks in this one for points I was blown away by.)

I need to re-read all of these...

Two books that really have quality content for beginners are:
Joseph Sugarman - Adweek Copywriting handbook
Zeke Camusio - The Internet Marketing Bible(free book, google it)

I got "How to win friends and influence people" by Dale Carnegie, gonna read it in the next few days.
Anyhow, Joe Sugarman's book is a well of wonderful principles, I highly suggest it.

Zeke Camusio's book is focused on online marketing and he explains everything in a simple tone, so everyone can get it.
    Highly recommended as well.
