Must I stop automation completely?

Hi.

I've been using Followers Chief on 3 accounts. Which has 5 settings, very slow, slow, normal, fast, very fast. I run all 3 pages on normal:

My main
Second
Luxury page

My main page last week received a notification, stating I must change my password, as my account has been compromised for using a third party service to gain followers. I received a week block on posts/likes/comments.

The same happened to my second account last week for the 2nd time within a month.

The luxury page however, can run 24/7 and not a single block goes on it.

I've just received that notification again in my main & second, and I was forced to change passwords but no block has been given. Does that mean these two will permanently be blocked? As I do pro gaming / strength training, I've been trying to build a following for both. I was gonna make separate pages, but as I have so many it's just too much to keep up so many at once that I actually want to use.

Followers chief is an android app you run off your phone so don't think proxies would be the problem. Correct me if I'm wrong, but each time you reset your connection your phone is issued a new ip by provider?

I thought this too. Kinda hesitant to run it now cause I don't wanna run the risk of a ban.

What's weird is with my main account it hadn't done any actions for 8 hours, and had no blocks since I went on and liked and done a comment myself to see.

Maybe I need to run it on very slow due to a block being lifted?

Not necessarily but IG has noticed you been spamming/botting for sure. There's a lot that could have gone wrong with your accounts.

Check proxies, how you created your accounts, how old your accounts are, number of interactions you were making.

When you say check proxies, should the phone be using a proxy in its settings when running the app? I thought having a new ip whenever the phone resets its mobile connection due to it being a mobile phone would of been better than a 3rd party proxy? Correct me if I'm wrong though.
 
Find a site that checks ip.
Check Yours
Reset ur phone Go back to site and check it again
If it is the same. That is your issue
 
You have got to be kidding me. My main account is in a 1 week block from everything AGAIN, I wasn't even running a bot. I was following / liking manually. There's no point even pressing report because they do nothing about it.

I only run the automation when I'm on WiFi, so it might be using that ip address, but you're right, my ip changes by mobile when I restart.

It's just frustrating cause the main account is on 54.5 followers and the engagement rate is getting hit hard, quite a few have unfollowed it also.

I did about 30 likes from an engagement group, and followed some Asian women interested in beauty / fashion. Went to sleep and 5 hours later I got slapped with the 1 week ban for a 3rd time in 2 months...

I did the same thing on my 2nd account but didn't do any likes from an engagement group and its fine... Its only on 1.8k though.

Meanwhile... The luxury page running fine as usual, tbh out of the 3 accounts that's the one I wouldn't care if it got the block...

Id rest the accounts for a week and then start them off on slowest setting, if it keeps getting follow blocked even with your IP changing, Instagram must have the accounts flagged. This is happening right across the board right now for most automation apps and software.
 
Rest all of them including luxury?

Cause my 2nd account just received a 1 week block and I hadn't run any automation for 24 hours... Pissed me off now.

Technically, it does but not all telecom providers change the IP just immediately after you reset it. Some might need few minutes or even hours being off.

Your own mobile 4G is the best option for sure but it ain't bulletproof, you could have the account flagged already due to any actions or the software your are using.
 
Probably the software. I've sent multiple emails with no response.

Just weird the luxury one is the one that gets run the most, and hasn't received more than a 24 hour ban like 5 months ago.


Kinda annoying to pay for 3 subscriptions monthly and 3 out of 4 weeks I've been banned.

Instagram runs experiments with different buckets of users. There is almost always a control group that isn't affected by anti-automation blocks. That's why you may see one account blocked and not the other.

This means that while your luxury page isn't receiving blocks or resets, it will eventually get blocked when IG decides to stop the control group.

Using a normal mobile 4G / rotating IP is the safest way to run automation, so I wouldn't be too suspicious of that. Perhaps IG is detecting FollowerChief somehow.

The luxury page I left with the default. My personal pages I have using emojis, since I thought the generic default comments were too obvious for a personal one.

Like "Your photos get better on each take ", for me seems like an obvious bot. On the luxury page, they don't know who it is so it's not so obvious.

I may need to find something else then, I used to run it off my 4g, but it ate like 20gb data and it wasn't a full month.

My backup page just received the compromised message but no blocks. I was manually following / unfollowing, but it was running in the background doing likes / comments. I had turned it off but it was switched on again when I restarted my phone.

If other programs are having issues, maybe its not a good idea to run anything for now?

Everyone is having the same problem across the board right now. Have you tried resetting the device ID after resting the account for a couple days before restarting slow. If they are clients accounts it's not worth risking them with automation right now IMO, alot of users are getting their accounts deleted I gather just from reading through the threads on this forum.

Is this needed for doing it on your own accounts? Wouldnt IG be able to tell that its not your usual IP so then it would flag it as being a bot?
 
Now my backup account got a week ban while I was sleeping (again, I was doing manually).

Luxury Page goes untouched...

I'm gonna just leave instagram for a month or so. Right now I'm even getting blocked for doing things manually. Maybe I'll run it on the luxury page but I don't care what happens to that page tbh, maybe I'll just cancel the automation subscription.

You're right. Wasn't aware this is a mobile app. I thought is just another IG bot sold these days.

No, if you manage your accounts via a mobile app, you don't really need proxies for 3 accounts.
