No worries, i managed to find a plugin that does what i want, which is posting to twitter, it is called Twitter Feed and it is available here - http://twitterfeed.com/

Today I felt like trying something new and browsing the various social network plugins I also found: "WP to Twitter" that might be a little simpler to setup for a novice... I installed it 10 minutes ago on one of my autoblogs and very satisfied so far. I thought I'd pass the word.

sirgold: can you explain how the whole API key thing works now, please. i was using this bit of software on a preevious blog and then twitter blocked the plugin and that was the end of that - at the time, there was very little info about how to 'upgrade' using the new API requirement.

perhaps thats changed now, but either way, im sure there will be plenty of other users who would also be interested in learning from you.
