Do you folks think it will turn into another good place for IM?

Then it's not your thing. Go look for something that is your thing, and dominate it. There are plenty of opportunities out there.

Personally I don’t like the app just because it’s nothing that I am interested in.

In relation to IM: find something you like and can gel with, smash out the sales.

If you were in the singing niche, Musically would work well. Otherwise I’d miss it in.
