I'm looking for an experienced music producer (examples are a must) to produce 3 or 4 songs I've written. With the possibility of a longer term partnership. Songs are to be used in a short movie which myself and a few friends have been working on.
The songs I need producing could be described as folk pop and/or pop rock, all written on an acoustic guitar. Specifically I'm looking for someone who has worked with Acoustic artists or with similar genres in the past and I'd like to see examples before I consider hiring anyone.
Ideally I want someone who has a genuine interest and is willing to work together i.e. I don't want to send the recording and wait for a few days for the result, I want to be involved in the process from start to finish, there's a specific sound I want to achieve so whether I am there in your studio in person or we do it remotely over Skype (I have good recording equipment) I don't care as long as I am present. Songs are obviously for commercial use and I will be retaining full ownership of the songs, so please keep this in mind before contacting me. (I'm stating this because I've had producers in the past who have requested 50% ownership despite being paid £1000s for their work).
I'm very picky so if you're an amateur or you don't have a lot of free time its better you don't contact me. I need someone who is available, experienced and patient (I can be a monumental pain in the ass as I'm perfectionist when it comes to music, I will criticize and be very vocal if I am not happy and I will often change my mind numerous times before settling on something, in return you will be very well paid for your time).
