Music artist - using twitter

Hi I really appreciate everyone here and how smart everyone is. I need some advice please

I want to build up a twitter following - targeted in my state and region. I want to tour and my idea is to start with small towns and mass follow off the newspaper/tv/radio twitter accounts in those towns.

I think a following of 10-15K is a good start and I want to get there by August.

Any thoughts? I appreciate it

Type in the town your going to into twitter. See what and who pops up. Start following them now. Post now. August well be here before u know it. Find who has the biggest bar account in town.

Yeah I'm asking because I feel growing an artist account is a different animal.

I used to gain over a thousand a day on one account with Tweepi. I have had accounts get hit with suspensions and I don't want that with this new account.
