    Hey there,

I make 2 videos for youtube everyday under a very well established
bodybuilding account. Considering how easily videos get ranked
in the SERPS, is there anything stopping me from simply
re-uploading the same video to multiple other accounts but
using different keywords? IE. If I make a video under my main
account for "how to get bigger arms"... can't I just then re-upload
that same vid to other accounts for "how to get huge arms",
"how to build thicker arms" etc etc.?

Is there any chance I would be penalized for this? My main account
is 3 years old with 8000 subscribers and lots of views so I don't
    want to jeopardize it.

    Thanks,

    BobbyG

Risk/reward I don't think it's worth it for such an established account.

I've changed the name of videos I've posted and I noticed that both videos show up (old name and new name) in the serps. However I always take them down. I do not see that google will penalize you for this because they cannot read content of the video (not yet). The only problem you may run into is if somebody you are competing against sees what you are doing and hits the spam button on you.

Yeah, I did this back in 2009 and forgot about it... I had 10 different accounts and uploaded about 10 different videos to each. I went back and looked today and each account has about 200-300 subscribers and 30,000+ video views... And many of them are ranked on the first page for the terms they were targeting.

It would just be such an easy to way to get more views... I'm just wondering if I'm putting my main account at risk or if they'd simply penalize/close the account with the duplicate vids on it. I mean, people steal and re-upload content all the time.
