Say one of my sites gets penalized because it's a bad website. Can this affect rankings for my other websites that might be completely white hat?

I would seperate it and not have more sites under the same Google account. I know 100% they cross check data!

This means I have to create a new Google account with a proxy and a different phone number. Sigh...

That's like putting all your good eggs in one basket, but in this case, your basket is a bad one (google).

I do have up to five websites per google account, but i don't think because your website flopped, they'll hit all. But surely, you won't be putting all your domains in one google account. It's too bad.

I would do that. After I got hard f... by big G for some months ago where I know they cross checked all my accounts and data in order to ban my AdSense and downgrade some websites I never trust them again.. I learned to use VPN, VPS, Fake Documents, ProtonMail and much more to secure my identity on the Internet and do Blackhat as it was meant to be :D

Don't even keep your site data on Google docs. They already admitted they snoop through email to find keywords. So they obviously will snoop through your docs as well. If all your URLs are in there, that is just like a keyword to them.

I need a Google account in order to get my page indexed faster.

No, I've this experience (one site penalized) and that's didn't affect my other sites.

Hi!

Do the other websites have white hat practices only? Then it shouldn't negatively influence your website.

Cheers!

Always just one website per google account. I had 5 sites penalized same day one time because using the same webmaster tools. 4 of them where completly whitehat but just because one site was caught they tanked all sites I had in that webmaster tools account.

Yeah I'd keep them all separate, they definitely cross check websites they even do it with Adwords - you only need one low quality score website in your adwords account and the cost per click will go up across all of your campaigns for all of your sites.

I guess it makes sense for them - if you're spmming/cheating with one site you'll probably be doing it with others in their eyes.

It's not a problem, a clean site will never be penalized or rank worse because another site in the account isn't clean, but: If one website gets a manual review and Google e.g. finds "unnatural links" they certainly check the other sites in the same account for unnatural links as well.

@onlineonly: If the 4 other sites were penalized as well, it means your definition of white hat doesn't match Google's definition. There is no "guilt by association".

I have some website under same name, its already linked well under the same id meaning domain, hosting , adsense as well. How can I segregate to seperate account without hitting. Any help appreciated here.

I just told you from experience that they will penalize all your sites that are linked in webmaster tools if one of your site don't follow google guidlines. When I say whitehat I mean Whitehat.

What do you have to back up your claims?

If you want to gamble, sure have all your websites under same account. I couldn't care less.

Own experience in about a dozen cases with one/several unclean site(s) in an account peing penalized (manual action, offpage and/or onpage, unnatural links, think affiliate, pure spam) and all others clean sites being totally fine.
