Hi all,

I just got back into programming again after an accident left me incapacitated....been a couple of years.

Anyway, Last time i heard some guy who would create several webpages...and then create articles for each website...and then cross-link them together...In a couple of months...he got decent rankings on keywords....some of them would be on the first page.

Anyone still doing this...or is there a better system?

If they are on different hosts(IP)it could be of some help. But generally, I never would want all my stuff linked. Lose 1, good chance of losing them all. Major footprint.

are you suggesting that ...if they are on the same server...might get busted by Google?

does it mean we should avoid this even with differents hosts

(sorry but what is footprint?)

Suggesting that links need to come from different IP addresses to have some effect. You cant just spam 1 blog 1k times and instantly have 1k backlnks and rank number 1 ;)

Footprint = A track. A Trail. Its very common when getting one website deindexed, your whole "ring" goes down.

At least for BH :)

Anyhow, just my opinion, could be completely wrong, but, you think a bit differently when you leave footprints and 50 of your sites get deindexed ;)

Sorry...maybe i wasn't clear. He would create New websites with different names (dif ip's)...and then cross link articles from each site...all relavant to the topic.

Yeah...i see your point about crashing.

thanks!

i have not understood still.

I'll try to explain.

If you have different websites...that you have linked together...its best to allocate a seperate website address for each site...and not just a webpage for each site name underneath a primary domain.
