Multiple sites on same server interlinked with only one of them linking to main site?

Most people here seem to suggest that sites on same IP linking to money sites is bad and you will get caught. Yet what if you used only one to link to your main site? That seems kinda like tiered link building.

For example say I have 5 sites on a shared server and choose one to be the star of the show and 4 other sites link to that one which links to money site.

What do you think? Under the radar?

Or all sites on same IP equal one in Google's eyes?

I have 3+money site on same ip, and then another 6 on .50c per month different ip's. all of them have about 4k links to money site.
there is no difference to the 3 or the 6 running on different ip's. theyre all still valid on google, the links are still showing up on google, all still ranking keywords. all still acting the same.
it might be because ive created 1 cloudflare account for each website, i dunno, but i havent seen a single difference at all
