Is it okay to put 5 keywords with links in one article?
As for the keywords count, as long as your article is bigger than 500 words at least, you can definitely insert 5 keywords, but not that many links on the other hand. Leave up to 5 different phrases, but make sure not to use more than 1 to 2 links top per article as it would look spammy and you won't achieve desired results.

In a 1000 word article, as a rough guide, I use 3-5 internal site links and 2-3 outbound links. This isn't a google rule, just what I would expect to want to see on a site. You can once you've always decided, and have traffic, install a heatmap, or session recorder, to see how your visitors are interacting with your pages, if they are clicking links, where, and change accordingly.
