Whats the Instagram rules on having multiple Instagram accounts? How many can you have running off the same cellphone? I currently have 3 off one device but i dont want to set up anymore on this phone for fear of them getting banned.

To prevent this i have bought another phone with a different sim (therefore number) would this be sufficicent protection or could they still 'link' the account to one person?

Richard.

They can still link if you use the same wifi the phone is on. I personally use proxies. three accounts per proxy is what is recommended. So far, so good. "knocks on wood"

I wont use wifi i will just use the data provided with the contract on the phone

Since the last update where you can add multiple accounts, the limit seems to be 5. So using 5 (if that's the official limit by IG) should be fine, you probably can't even add more.

Of course they can see that it's the same IP, but there are many people using the same wifi in some households, so don't think too much about that if you're doing things manually.

Regards,

I have 5 accounts on my iPhone and 5 accounts on my iPad. No proxies, just my home dynamic IP.

You can have up to 5 on the same phone

I would never go above 5 accounts from the same home network, proxies are best.

I would recommend 3-4 accounts per Ip, safer for you. Otherwise buy cheap proxies here on BHW if you are planing to open more account!

you can add many with same ip , but the behaviour and action are decide to ban u or not , if many (e.g 10 ) accounts doing normal human activity , so it's Ok , but if the accounts act like bots , so it will ban u even it's 2 accounts only on same ip

Yes, that's why when I am botting these accounts, I change the settings all the time. Better be safe than sorry.
