Multiple Gmails for YouTube Channels

Question to all the people arguing for 1 channel per account/email.
If you want to monetize it with YT, how do you collect the money?

I think you can create different channels with the same email address. Otherwise, what is the point of the "switch account" feature on Youtube and Youtube studio?

well lol if people are asking their personal questions here then i also need to add a question - What if my primary gmail adsense account is banned and i created new gmail in different location and ip and different mobile number and then use that id's in different browsers of the primary device so there would be any problem during payout or google will ignore it?

I can try to answer that: Can't you transfer an account to someone else? Meaning transferring it to another account. I guess you can. Here, it would be like you are doing that (if you do it to a stealth account, which is what I understand you are indeed meaning). So it should possible. All depends probably on WHY the ban occurred in the first place. If it is for example because of the content, transferring the channel won't resolve anything, I assume.

You can, but I understand the fear is to have potentially everything banned or shut down at once. Hence wanting to separate things. This is like companies creating subsidiaries to separate risks. Except big tech tend to 100% shut down the person (which is probably wrong, btw).

+ There is the story YT algo might send less viewers to your channels in total (I guess the rationale would be the content must be kind of "the same" as it originates form the same person, or something like that. If this thing is true, but it has been reported several times).

Imho you'll be banned if you'll do something AGAINST Youtube Policy. So, if i do something against YT policy on one channel (and it got banned) why do they have to ban the 2nd account under the same email(if it's ok with youtube guidelines)? That makes no sense at all.

Anyway, let's say you want to create 2 channels with 2 different email, can you link both channel with the SAME adsense account?

Yeah, because all bans on youtube and other platforms make total sense, right?
You know the "guidelines" may be applied a very biased way, or you're a little naive. No offense.
As said, there is an unfortunate tendency to ban people rather than a specific channel.
In the end, you do as you see fit and according to your own beliefs.

I would guess the same adsense account would link them and defeat the purpose of the separation in the first place. But this circles back to my question asked above (I don't have the answers. I would like to get them from those who know, though)

You cannot have more than 1 Adsense account (this is Adsense Policy). So imho the best thing to do is to have different channels under the same email, and do everything on these channel like Youtube TOS ask you to do. This is the best way,IMHO. I'm still talking about minimizing the risk, then it's clear that they could close the channels/account.
The switch account function, which you can find on the site, was created specifically to have different channels. Otherwise it would never have been placed there if it were illegal. In my view it is more illegal to create another account (with another email) and create other channels and then link them to a different adsense account.

Anyway, it would be interesting to get some answers from those who own several monetized youtube channels currently on the platform.

It's not "illegal". It's not against any law, except "youtube laws". So, it's "just" against their ToS. But we knew that.
And we know you can create several channels under a single account. This wasn't the subject ("what are you supposed to do to be a good boy according to YT?").

Well, my adsense account was banned cause someone was running their ad clicking bot on my blog and that time i was in college and also at that same day i got message that i have recieved the google pin so i was damn excited to reach home but then when i open the adsense account i saw that my account was banned at first i was confused how and why, then after 2 weeks i get to know the reason. Also i left all adsense-related groups on fb cause i used to showcase traffic to people their

Always use a different email for each channel. If most are on same channel and one gets terminated, you will not loose all.

Can you link the same adsense account on different YT accounts (different emails)?
Can you use different YT accounts with the same IP?

You can, but it doesn't mean you should. If one gets terminated, you run the risk of all of them under a specific email getting terminated as well (which happened with me over a mistake).

I got it. But can you link different YT accounts (registered with different emails obv) with the SAME Adsense account?
