Multiple EINs

I just got screwed by pp and i don't think ill be able to get my account reinstated with them. It was my EIN account so now i am looking for some advice/help.

From what i know, your name and EVERYTHING must match up 100% with the IRS EIN info and your pp info.

So my question is, if this is true, how can i get away with making a new pp account and using my new EIN???

Is there any work arounds on this?

Or is obtaining a new DBA a simple fix?

never experience this before but i'll find some information regarding this issue..

As far as I know, the EIN hides your name behind the business identity. All PayPal would have access to is the business identity, financial information and the address that was used.

oooh ok so pp can't see your "real name" behind the business identity name or the DBA? I was asking this because i think i read some where someone got busted b/c their stuff didn't match up.

From my experiences, it does in fact hide your name. But I could be wrong. We need a second opinion.

EINs' purpose is that in the U.S., a business is considered its' own entity controlled by someone or a group of people. eBay/PayPal doesn't agree with this, so they always want someone to be the fully verified representative of an account with a EIN. This is so when you go online, and your aged and experienced eBay account is hacked by some goober in a 3rd world country and they get on there and sell 200 expensive laptops for $99.99 a unit, and they sell out within a couple of hours, and then 200 people are filing payment disputes and having their credit card companies and banks file disputes with them, then personally know who to go after without an investigation into things like "who hacked this poor persons account."

So, a eBay account CAN be verified by an EIN, but it is a complicated process treated differently by employees at eBay/PayPal and depending on their level of tolerance.
