Multiple CPA accounts

Ok, so i am not going to go into too much detail but I know that some people have multiple accounts at the same network. MY question is how the hell do you go about doing that?

Here is a list of things:

- never log in to the same network from two accounts with one ip
- different addresses
- different names
- make sure cookies are cleared
- different contact details

The big one i cannot figure out is receiving payments. For example, i am from England and have Blackhat LTD as my corporation/company. i can only receive payments named to blackhat ltd. I cannot setup another LTD cos the taxman is gonna be on my ass because in england, you are not allowed to run different companies that are doing the exact same thing.

What gives?

it would be nice to sign up to hydra or neverblue 5 times

in the US you can setup a corp then have as many DBA's as you want to sign up to companies with...

I see. Anyone from England have any idea how to go about doing this? Also, what excuse do I tell my accountant to set this up?

Also, will i need a separate bank account for all the different dbas?

You can have as many DBA as you want, under different addresses and phone numbers with different bank accounts and different Tax ID. If you need help with that let me know.

I thought u could only get 1 EIN for DBA's no matter how many u got but corps must have diffrent EIN's

Is it really necessary to have a different ip, i kind of doubt they check those? Also how about voice? I guess if you sign up a couple of times they might recognize your voice at one point.

If you have a good relationship with your affiliate manager, you can go ahead and make multiple accounts using diffirent DBA's or diffirent CORPS and they don't really care... Infact they're happy to help as long as you're lining their pockets too

your 100% right, me personally I already have a LLC...I let my lawyer do it he just sends me the paperwork when its done.

I'm in the US, can I just use multiple DBA's? Although since you need a unique EIN, I assume I would need EIN's for each of these DBA's. Does anyone know how you go about getting an EIN for your DBA's?? I am just using my personal social security company right now, but I want to add a few more accounts with everyone.

You can only have 1 DBA if your a sole proprietorship, and 1 DBA means only 1 EIN.

If you register a LLC or CORP and get a DBA under that corp you can file the DBA and as a diffirent CORP and get a unique EIN for each DBA.

Ok, what about several sole proprietorships with a DBA as each sole proprietorship and one EIN for each of those, or is this not possible?

Or are you saying set up one corporation, and have many DBA's under that corporation and have a EIN for each DBA under that single corporation?

When i called the IRS they explained it to me like this...your only allowed 1 EIN under your SSN...However for diffrent corps LLC's u need a EIN for each.

I am from EU but let's assume I have a corp registered in US and got an EIN with it too, I keep hearing that I can get more DBA's for the same corp and then apply for a new EIN for each DBA I have under my corp umbrella but how do I go about that?

Also I see couple of posts here saying you can get a new DBA as cheap as $10, yet I google it and the cheaper I've found were like $89 etc...

Do I need to be in US and sign any papers to get the new DBA's under my corp or all can be done online?

Does each DBA has to have a different address etc?

Any tip is appreciated

Ok first of all, you could setup a corp in the usa regardless of where you're from in the world, but getting a EIN for the corp will be a little bit more difficult and I don't know the exact details of it. I know that many incorporation websites will help you get a EIN for a corp if you incorporate with their website.

As far as DBA's go, to register a DBA you have to go into your states county clerk office and pay a small fee ($10-20 depending on the state), and they'll help you set up those DBA's, but as for you, who lives in the EU you'll be required to pay a bigger fee, because I think that DBA setup has to be done in person (someone correct me if i'm wrong here), so essentially that $89 you're paying the incorporation service to walk into the county clerk office and register your DBA.

Regarding the address for the DBA, when you file a DBA you would most likely be using the same address as the corporate address, but if you wanted to change it you could, you could also change it when applying for a CPA network, there is no legal obligation to provide your corporate address.

You would have to contact the IRS in regards to getting a EIN if you're out of the states, i believe its possible and they provide a certain form for it but i'm not sure. If not, the incorporation service can help you get a EIN for your llc or corp, but for your DBA, I dont know, I haven't seen any services offer DBA ein filing, but its worth asking.
