multiple copyright strikes at once getting you a YT ban?

with no prior strikes?
i've heard of this happening.
maybe only if the clips are monetized? idk.
what do you know about this? the thought makes me pretty worried

if you get 3 strikes at once your account will be terminated.

that's crazy.. i'm pretty sure it didn't used to be that way.
i got like 5 strikes at once by the same copyright owner and it counted as one strike.
i'm pretty scared because a channel similar to mine got banned recently and i have like 50x the videos

Yes you can get banned if you receive 3 strikes together.

I had a compeititor false flag 3 videos once and that took 14 days to resolve. IIRC if you're in a managed CO or MCN you get a period of time to deal with 3 strikes, but if you're on your own, you don't.

wow.. i just got like 10 videos removed by the same copyright owner but it was in 2 separate goes so i got 2 strikes. hopefully i can last 3 months i guess.. christ almighty.

same thing happened to me yesterday, with no strikes, no community guidelines violations,, no nothing, no email no warnings, just terminated. I didnt even know that my account was terminated, until one of my subscriber emailed me asking why cant they watch my videos.. it is very sad, i dunno what to do.
