    Hello guys and gals,

I?ve got a question about getting multiple backlinks from one domain.

For instance, one gets multiple backlinks from a website (irrespective of the niche and also not taking into account the actual human visitors that visit following those links), purely from a seo perspective is it beneficial?

I don?t really recall back what exactly it was, but I remember reading somewhere that multiple backlinks from one domain don?t help much as far as serps results are concerned and search engine bots tend not to give backlinks coming from one domain much weight. (Please correct me if I am wrong here) :p

I believe that the general opinion of most seo's is that additional backlinks from the same domain do not carry the same weight as the first backlink received from said domain. However, I wouldn't turn down additional backlinks just because I already had a link from a specific domain.

Yeah, agreed with your point :)

But, wouldn't it be just better to spend the time and money in getting more backlinks from different domains.

Now it also makes me to think what is better,

100 articles that link back from Ezine articles (PR6)

    or

100 articles each on a different article directory (even if they are PR0 or PR1)

If someone would like to answer that then please feel free to post it here :)

why put backlinks in one place when u can spread it out....and yea it's beter for seo to ahve it from different places

EZINE is an authority site it carries a lot of weight so it's good to ljust link from there that is an example where backlinks from one site would be good

It all depends on the quality(Authority-PR-Age) of the site where the backlinks are coming from.

I am not a SEO authority but the way I see it; Links die. Multiple links over time to prevent losing that link, ok. However, only over time woud I try to duplicate unless I was active on some forum driving traffic with a sig.

You can several at ezine for different urls and keys. Don't get tunnel vision on your domain root.

Those PR0-PR1 links aren't very valuable unless you have quantity.
