Multiple Articles Same Keyword?

I've been looking for a direct answer but can't seem to find a clear answer....

If I write multiple articles targeting the same exact keyword is there any downside to that? Also if I do SEO for that keyword/url should I be doing it for all the artcles I wrote for that same keyword or is it better to just target one of them for better results?

It would work pretty well if you write an article about your keyword and then write multiple articles targeting related keywords or sub-niches.
In this way,you can build most backlinks to the homepage or the master article and then trow a few backlinks on the inner pages.

You'll be surprised by the results

So if I am targeting las vegas lawyers, write articles on las vegas bankruptcy lawyers, las vegas divorce lawyers? There isn't a reason to write multiple articles on las vegas divorce lawyers though?

Yea,exactly,that should work pretty well and your website will be verry optimised for your main keyword.

I'm not sure if I understood that.

Basically,it's better to write about sub-niches,not only for the SEO propouse,but for an increased conversion rate and traffic oportunities aswell.

Well basically I'm targeting Las vegas divorce lawyers specifically, just not sure if I should write more articles on las vegas divorce lawyers or if I should write articles for different keywords related to las vegas divorce lawyers

You can have 4-6 articles about Las Vegas Divorce lawyers,some more articles about how to prepare for meeting divorce lawyers,pro and cons and stuff like that.

Always keep in mind that you're writing articles for people and not search engine.The quality of articles will be increasing your conversion rate a lot.Try to research more about your niche,see what your visitors might also be looking for and you'll have a lot of subjects to write about.

Also,if that is really your main keyword,i suggest you remove it asap unless you want more competition
