I find myself in an unfamiliar position, hopefully someone can share their experience and give advice.
I have a high ranking affiliate website. Now I'm translating it to another language. I have a high ranking page A. The content on the translated page will be pretty much the same (only translated), but the affiliate offers (and some related content) will be completely different (as they are country-specific).
My question is: do I publish translated page as a completely separate page (even though 90% of its content is directly translated) or do I tie it to the original page A through hreflang and localte:alternate (even though it has different affiliate offers)?
