SMART???:):):);)

obviously not too smart.
why do you want to install multiple blogs on one database..
are all these blogs on one domain.

yes it can be done

yeah, really, huh, not as smart as
id like to be. my hosting only allows
2 databases, i might have to go
with another hosting, is it hard
to run multiple blogs off
one database, do you tecommend it?
Thanks so much for replying....

never tried it, but I cant see a problem..

I am not sure how to do it but a search on the web will let you know...
if i knew I would certainly tell you, but as I have reseller hosting I can add 1000's of dbases so never done it
anything else about WP then ask away

OK, that's possible and easy.
WPMU will not work on non dedicated servers, so you'll have to install the scripts seperately.

Just provide a different table prefix when installing each wordpress blog. Default is set to wp_ so just change it like ab_ cd_ ef_ gh_ etc...

Got it ?

ah you beat me too it... lol yea that will work...

that is in the config.php file in case you are wondering where to put it

why not just write

wpmanagerdx

or put it in the code area

Code:
wpmanagerdx

you all are so great, i appreciate you
taking your time to help me, and
i will give it a shot
again, many thanks:):):):):):):)

wpmu works on my non ded just fine
Sorry then...
Is it virtual private server ?

It works as long as you have access to httpd.conf file, which is not the case in 90% of standard non dedicated or no private servers
