I only want to rank the inner pages of my site. But I know I need to have some links point to the home page, otherwise it wouldn't look natural.

Is there any sort of "ideal" ratio of homepage-inner page links I should use as a guideline?

    LOL...

Either way OP, I follow a simple strategy:

    - In every page I have 1 link to home page with a keyword as an anchor text in the actual article and 1-4 links randomly to other inner pages with a keyword as an anchor.

I keep it natural and very related to everything...

    Good Luck!
