Hey has anyone used mTurk to get CPA leads? Just like come up with some clever way to get them to do a CPA offer? I just had the idea, but I thought other people must have thought of it first. Is there any reason it wouldn't work? -teenmoney
Most people who do jobs for Mechanical Turk know that they are not supposed to use any of their own information for any jobs. So if your offer requires their information you will soon be reported by a large percentage.
yep even email submit.. I've tried that already and after 9 email submits someone reported me and I got banned.. so try something else..
well I did it for egay back when they still paid descent commissions never had a problem plus traffic came from everywhere. Just say something like: Hello All, I need to test out my tracking system for a few campaigns. There will be a bonus given if completed in a timelly manner. Directions: blah blah blah.. Please only one test per computer/Ip address other vise no payment will be issued. So you get the Idea, you tell them indirectly what to do and you get the commision and they get their mulah and everyone is happy.. But one problem with this whole thing is that you must verify every single entry cuzz I had a few cheaters. Any ways good luck.
I find that services such as mturk are better used for forum posting, blog commenting and the like. mturk employers are forbidden from asking workers to expose their personal information.
Ahhhh I bet I can help you out here! I should keep this to myself but what is the fun in that??? http://www.fakenamegenerator.com/order.php Use that to generate fake information into an XLS or the like and tell them its a data entry position. You can use some variation of the 'tracking' thing mentioned above to insist that they use different computers and IP's but in this case they're not using their info. If you do this you'd better be sure you're flinging junk traffic at the offers to keep the rates down!
It's not software - it's just a list of names that they generate for you. It's great ... it really is.
Hmmm, if you're any good at SQL what I did was create an SQL db and a page to generate the info so every time you visit that page it gives you a new fake person.
You may be right - but if you are mixing in enough legit white hat leads you should stay under the radar.
It's unlikely that your operation could persist. If you can't make legit money then leave the program alone.
What are the going rates for forum posting and blog commenting? I don't mean just on mturk, I mean in general.
lol I know - just putting it out there - but seriously if Mturk is a a bunch of random surfers ie 'normal' (whatever the hell that is) - users how would G know - unless the do-gooders reported you of course, dont really know mturk but do the workers have to complete the work via the mturk website?
Surely dont go for it, or U will face ban in the recent future. Its really not worth the risk. Try to avoid this technique. After all, thats just an opinion.
