Is amazon's mturk worth to make money ?Has anyone succeded in making true money with mturk ?
You mean employing people or doing the jobs? Yes, it's great for getting one off stuff done on the cheap as an employer. Don't do the jobs yourself, that's just sad. Think a little bigger
For doing jobs
yes i am getting checks but very very low income
mturk.com / cloudcrowd.com / microworkers.com / shorttask.com
If you are good and fast, work on all 4, maybe you can make 1-2k per month, thats about it.
Does anyone know if MTurk has enough work to keep busy consistently? This was the roadblock I had to taking it big.
Well it depends on your definition of "big." There's an unlimited amount of jobs on there and you could easily work all day every day... but you'll only earn a pittance for it.
I've tried it. I mostly did interesting jobs, like scientific studies and surveys, although I tried almost every type of job there is. Earned $12 from 4-5 jobs, cashed out and then forgot about it.
It does, but only if you like shitty monotone 2-cent jobs, like rewriting text from business cards or researching businesses' addresses and phone numbers.
A lot of 'employers' are scammers, they make you click on ads and fill out CPAs (which is forbidden, but somehow there are dozens of jobs like that) and they come up with bullshit reasons to not pay you.
Among legit reasonable jobs there are translation and video/audio transcription. I personally couldn't transcribe a single video/audio file because most of them contain many inaudible parts.
There aren't enough good jobs to keep you busy all the time. The rest are only good if you're extremely unskilled and can withstand pointless monotony for long periods of time, but I guess you could earn more from filling out captchas...
