Seeing a lot of services now offering MSN guest posting. Are these guest posts even worth it?

I'm not sure if it is one of these sub-category items that have little to no value.

Its worth is because it is a high authority & traffic website when people demand it and publish their articles on it.

So they index and last I take it than?

I know it is not a press release post but want to make sure it isn't something useless like those. Short lived, never index and provide no real juice.

it depends...

- price
- whether it's DF / NF
- URL depth
- number of OBLs on the same page (if your link is buried among dozens of other links where nobody can see it what's the point of getting it?)
- whether the page is orphaned or not and whether it gets any traffic... or whether it's even indexed to begin with...
...etc

It will likely be an orphan page given time. Url depths are not too deep and I have seen these indexed

Anyone know how much these MSN guest posts are?

Range from 70-300 depending on the source. Not sure what the root price is.

It depends on your goals and the quality of the guest posting service. MSN can still drive traffic and provide some SEO benefits

Yes totally worth it! :) If anyone need feel free to PM! :) Thank you!

even regional shitty news sites don't have such prices

Generally, i think a good article in msn for sure will improve your site ranking
Honestly I wouldn't expect much from cheap PBNs, news sites and MSN. MSN might be good to drive referral traffic but doubt it would be good long term SEO

Current Similarweb stat for MSN says it has 657M traffic sessions per month. If it's a $250 expense, the question to ask is does it likely provide a good cash on cash return. What is that money doing for you, not just how much does it cost? If the destination page the MSN guest post links to has passive CPM ads, and/or a paid article set up (make $X per each thousand viewer impressions) etc, the passive earnings alone in theory could be way over $250, even if the viewers don't actively buy anything. So it could be worth it to write two great articles (one for the money page, the other for the MSN guest post pointing to it) and then finding out what is the case.

Personally, I've never noticed any direct traffic from MSN guest posts on any of my sites, nor did they help any of the sites in terms of rankings; but your mileage may vary.

it's a big brand, so google loves them implicitly, a backlink from them might give your site some trust (at the very least) if not ranking boost.

But based on what OP said this is what I would pay....

gotta spend more to get more ............1$ services dont help
only if it's worth spending more. For that type of backlink I'd not spend more. But that's me, you are - of course - free to pay whatever you want :)
