Mr. T and Mr. M!

this morning got an email pushing a product by "Mr. T" (be so cool if it was the real Mr.T ) and now just got sent an email pushing a product by "Mr. M" Like for f*** sake is there any bit of creativity, just a few things on the lack of a name...A) It doesn't create the mystery that is being sought B) Makes me trust them less C) doesnt make me want to click the link D) It will probably make me delete the subscription! like every few weeks it's the same thing....Auto Traffic (Someting)....Mass Money (Something)....Click Bank (Something)....Traffic (Something)....seems if you want to create a product all you have to do is replace the (Someting) and there you go! you got yourself a shiny new product...and when i say new i mean rehashed and when i say shiny i mean dull and boring...rant over!...think it's time for a mass unsubscribe session for me!

Well you aren't their target audience. There target audience is the kind of person who thinks "Mr. T" sounds mysterious, and believe me, they exist. It isn't about trust, it's about the off chance that it is legit, and it worth the money just in case it is true.

They probably wont care very much if you unsubscribe, since they will probably never be able to sell you anything anyways. Most of the people they get conversions from don't even know how to unsubscribe from a mailing list.

Is it annoying? A little. Can you learn from it? Hell yeah. Use it to your advantage. They probably make a lot more money than you do.

ya more than likely they do make more money than me in marketing. i actually went to unsubscribe and found that for my name they had "friend" (noticed this A LOT recently), now i have never entered "friend" as my name in any opt in box so i'm thinking that maybe someone has been seling their list to other marketers!
