MPEG4 to FLV

A quick simple question: Will converting MPEG4 file to flv file make it a lot smaller? I want to upload videos to my movie site but 1,5 GB is just too much, something like 400 mb would be alright. Would converting MPEG4 to flv do the job or any other methods I should know about?

Go for flv man ..

MPEG4 will surely increase in the size , however it depends upon the convertor/compressor you are using

i used AVS once and it increased the size 2x when converted to MPEG4
