I think he is using web mail.

and i throught of that, but then why he would need proxies? when the emails go out through the ip of the server where the webmail is.. well, unless he is using some free email service and don't want to bypass its IP limits..

wow major typo. thunderbird srry

thats what i thought!

well, i don't think you can mail through proxies, sorry bro.. one way or another by sending emails through thunderbird it actually sends out the email from the mailserver of your account, not from you PC itself..

so say im using a godaddy outgoing server, what will the ip be?

im trying to respond to about 1k email per day. but they can't be responded to from the same ip...

sorry, i am wrong...

In thunderbird's settings click on "advanced", then on "network & diskspace", then in "settings" for the Connection tab.. there you define the Proxies..

Emails go out through you PC ip and mailserver IP attached as well..

Try looking for proxy switching extentions for thunderbird.. otherwise you need to manually switch proxies..

other alternative is to get a VPN like HMA that can chage your IP every X minutes automatically...
