Moz updates its Domain Authority

this new update will drop DA most of websites thats created baclinks throw automated softwares of posting spam post on lots of web 2.0 blogs.

To be honest, it does not bother me at all. I don't care what Moz does. As a SEO, you should only use 3rd party tools to assist you, not to make decisions for you.

I had a talk with JohnMu and he told that no matter what update they roll out, their metric wont be relevant and will be useless. But this will help to sort out shit link sellers which means almost 99% of BHW seller links will be like DA 2 or DA 5 not DA 30 like before.

Hmm interesting. Moz won't effect actually google rank though. They are just a service that offers great tools to help us make the right choices in the end ya?

True, but if the tool is accurate enough it makes sense to use it. Recently, DA has been nothing but a shit metric easily fooled by spammy links, so I hope they did some homework to improve it.

lol

About time. Will be interesting to see what happens ;)

If before this update, a good benchmark will be from DA30

How about now after the update, will a good benchmark be from DA10 onwards?

Its a welcome change and gives more credibility to DA.
So getting DA 20+ is going to be more difficult right now
