Now open site explorer is working but i didnt see any change on my authority. Did anybody get any update or is just me?

yeah my one of my domain got an increase of pa/da slightly.

it is march 3rd and did not see anything different. One web 2.0 of mine, I have done a lot over the last 2 months and it should have inched a bit on PA metric. but nothing.

What is more, i am interested to see the result of this case from moz metrics: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/ranking-a-parasite-with-fiverr-gigs-case-study.913586/ done by @SolveMyMaze
I actually thought there was some sort of glitch with the Moz toolbar on chrome.
My sites haven't had a drop in PA or DA(nor a rise) but the one from the case study hasn't budged either, and is still at a PA of 1 after 6 weeks. Although it's still holding its position well in the serps so I'm not overly worried.

I wouldn't worry about Moz at all. Its metrics are an opinion to be taken with a pinch of salt - similar to Alexa.

It simply doesn't have the resources to monitor as much of, or on the same level as Google. Just as an example, it can't deal with Disavow files (which are submitted directly to Google only), so you have both no idea about many of the links a competitor has (because it doesn't index as much of the web as Google), and no idea about how many of those shown are disavowed.

Who still uses moz ? it finds less than 1/4 of backlinks in comparison to ahrefs. How can they evaluate 'true' value in expression of metrics such as DA/PA based on less than 1/4 of the total backlinks domain has.

Not sure if its an update or the after affect of the glitch they had, but noticed some change on a couple of domains.

apparently moz fixed their database yesterday. i still do not see any changes on any of my sites, or tier 1 links. has anyone noticed any changes?

It was fixed weeks before but I didnt see any changes in all my site. As I can see they just put the old database

I second this. Ahrefs is way more accurate.

dw, these kids will learn in due time
and understand moz is utter garbage.

It's true that ahrefs crawl backlinks faster but it' dr metrics suck
