What does MOZ Spam score depend on?
What I noticed is on my sites where I built about 25-35 backings in first 2-3 months, it gave me 30% Spam score which is high.
Most of the links were Forum links.
So what has caused this ? Building links quickly or giving many same kind of (forum) links ?

Moz SS is irrelevant,
As long as your links are decent, getting indexed, coming from the right pages/website, you're good to go,
Basically, everything will depend on the forum links you've built and in which websites,
Manually built ones in niche relevant authority well selected websites with genuine replies with 150-200 words would be the perfect case,
Automatically created links with some software like Senuke in spammed forums with garbage content is something you shouldn't do for your website

moz spam score is irrelevant,
probably some of those forums where you placed your links was spammed to death with outgoing links

Moz's Spam Score factors like link velocity (how quickly you acquire backlinks) and link diversity (having a mix of different types of links).
I think In your case, the quick acquisition of similar forum links may have contributed to the higher Spam Score.
Varying your link sources and pacing the acquisition could help balance the score.
