In the end, it is nothing else but Keyword tool , Google Suggest and then some bullshit they throw in lol . Wonder what keywords actually get 100 if you look at 60 ish is already way too hard to rank based on their "opportunity" index lol.

I think you guys are misinterpreting the opportunity score.

The "Oppurtunity Score" as described by them, is an estimate CTR that the organic search results get after factoring out the clicks the ads displayed on the page gets; if there are ads on the search result, then this score will be less and if there aren't any ads etc. it will be 100%. It's not a parameter to judge the competition.

But yeah, the "Potential" score is quite absurd.

Shit, I use keysearch.co and it says competition for "payday loan" is moderate. Is this bad?what are other keywords I should search to test the accuracy of difficulty?

what does mean SERP for them ? is it the top 10 from google ?

because for the same keyword, based on google.com (usa), the top10 url from this moz tool and semrush are not the same

Point being there is no value in this crap. Opportunity is only there is one ranks, no ranking = no opportunity. Anyways, sure noobs and the sheep will fall for this bs

You do not need a keyword tool,it is very difficult. One of the niches that is closely monitored by Google.

On a serious note, I had a friend who used to make glass bongs. He's now making a killing, making glass dildos. Used to sell 3-6 bongs a week for a hundred or so dollars or sometimes a few hundred for a custom badass one, and was steadily declining in sales every week. Now he sells 20 glass dicks a day, at $85-200 depending on "features/complexity," and he cant keep up with local store demands.
