Well, it's happened, a full-on "Luke, Darth Vadar is your father" moment. After 5 years of White Hat I'm fed up with rubbish results, telling customers to be patient, explaining that Black Hat is the way of fools, then watcing all the competitive sites out rank mine - it's all bollocks.

I've been that guy who would argue that natural linking is the best approach, these black hat guys will get their come-uppance, but no longer! Now I'm getting behind the dark side, jumping onto the xrumer bandwagon, deliving deep into Facebook FriendAdder and saying "Come into my life all yee who are unnatural".

Not that anyone on this forum will give a damn, and those of you who have got this far will be saying "about time too", "what the hell took you so long" or just "get on with it, and stop thinking we're interested" but for me it's a big moment.

If anyone is interested I'll let you know how I get on, but I know there's plenty of people doing that already so I'll not bother unless asked.

your about 5 years too late lol. Well not completly, but its not as easy as it used to be. If your working with 1 site, save your 500 + bucks on Xrummer and buy 75 good 700 word + articles - all optimized for the keywords of your choosing of course. Spread them out and post about 3-4 articles a week. Don't stop until you have at least 300 good articles on your blog.

my 2 cents - lots will disagree with me. I'm a greyhatter...

Welcome aboard buddy! As Michael Jackson once said 'it don't matter if your black or white' as long as you put the work in, you will make some good dollar! But imo, blackhat is the way to be ;)

Good Luck!

Thats not necessarily all that "black hat". Just keep the content unique and you'll be alright.

My driving a car analogy

White hat is the driving you do that will impress the driving test instructor and which will ensure that you pass the test. Blackhat is the driving that people do on a daily basis because it feels better and it suits them to do so.

It's a rigged game by Google so you do what you have to do to survive. It's not like Google is some fair impartial judge of the worthiness of a site. And haven't we all experienced utter crap ranking better than our own sites.

Stick it to the man, I say!

I know how you feel.

I used to drone on about how white was the way to go... Comment on a blog for the sake of the link... NO WAY!!... spin an article? Oh my god no!... create anything for the sake of ranking... I don't think so, it has to be natural..

While I take a few principals from white into black I don't really have a problem with it any more.

if you only knew the power of the darkside muah ha haaaaaa! or in my case, the greyside, muah haa haaa haaaaaa haaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Blackhat is the right choice when it comes to monetizing from SEO. Whitehat is nice if you have something really unique that stands out by itself so that everyone "naturally" links to you. If Matt Cutts wasn't who he is and had a blog, nobody would even bother looking it up.

So NEO...... you finally decided to take the RED pill.... welcome to the dark side.

So funny to hear... I had an SEO Web Dev prior to this Dark Side Company... I would fight with my SEO guys... They were always telling me about duplicate content and link juice and on and on... And I'd try to support them. But they'd spend weeks on 10 pages and I'd spin out 200,000 pages with a programmer in a few hours but they wanted nothing to do with it. WELCOME!

Thanks all for your welcome, makes me feel all warm and tingly inside :D
