Hello guys,

This is my first post on BHW but I've been reading the forum for a while now. Don't know if it's appropriate to ask for help on my first post but i'll just do it :).
The thing is, i'm moving next week to Berlin and I need some tips from anyone who might live there, in finding some place to work quick.
I have a rent where i can register myself and i also speak german very good, job is the only problem :). I can provide you info about my techincal skills and other if you request.
So if any of you could help i would be very thankfull.

Thanks
Vali

Take a look at Xing.

It's a business network, along the same lines as Linkedin, but it's a German company and so is very Germany focussed.

Dont know what the job market is like in Berlin, hopefully if you get yourself out there you can find something pretty quick though.
What sort of thing you looking to do out there?

For the beginning i was thinking even at Customer care or Data entry jobs, but i kinda looking to get some work at some SEO Agency cuz i have some knowledge in this field and it's good for me to learn how to focus the things i know in doing something propper :) .
So i'm thinking to find anything computer/ internet related or if you can call it like that, internet handyman :)) but if needed i'll even work at some "babylon"-corporation till i get on my feet.

I got my CV on monster and berliner-jobmarkt where got some response from some companies but most of them are looking for developers, wich i'm not :dong:. I'm applying every day on similar sites and hoping to get a positive response.

This would be a good question in answer yahoo as well.

yes, would be.... but since i'm not looking for some "single mother" giving me some "clever" advice..., I think this is some good place to start finding people sharing the same interests in the area and make some conections...

You have to admit he's right. Ironically, the only person in my family who uses Yahoo Answers is my mother. I'd only consider using it for non-spammy SEO purposes.
