I can't begin to explain my terrible experience with rackspace hosting. Having used them for several months I am amazed so many people think they are "the shit" when it comes to service and support. During the day support tickets are usually answered in 45 minutes to 1 hour time. At night the experience is worse often waiting 3-5 hours before they respond to them. Calling them on the phone is no better because it doesn't leave a trail and no one claims responsibility for the issue. Last month the server bill was $1078! They charged me $439 for hosting and another $639 because I went over their "managed backup" which they didn't even notify me about. I'm not going to continue to pay this much for shitty service and slow servers. A new server is already setup on another host with 8 cores and raptor drives..all that is left is moving this puppy (website) to it's new home which will hopefully happen tomorrow. Just wanted everyone to know what's up.
