Moving from http to https, will my site loss ranking

Moving my site from http to https will there be loss in ranking ?

When I changed mine, I got a dip in rankings but within a week or so it came back higher than it was before.

Just make sure you redirect all http to https pages correctly. Also, make sure that if you are displaying images from your websites, images are linked with https as well.

There will be a drop in the first weeks, then it will return to the same positions or better. Do not forget to add https version in GWT.
