Moving content from one site to another

Hello BHW, I have a specific situation and I have an idea what should I do, but I want to ask professionals first. I have two amazon affiliate sites that are created around the same niche (two micro niches). One site is older than 1 year and another one is around 6 months old. The first site is very successful and the second one isn't that successful.

I plan to remove all of the content from page 2 to page 1 and focus only on that page 1. What do you think about it? Is it a better approach, or should I just leave this page 2 as it is?

I guess you can do it but make sure to give 301 from page 2 to page 1 so that you can pass link juice.

If site 2 is not successful, why do you want to move content to site 1. You should concentrate on site 1 and let site 2 as it is.

According with "the millionaire fastlane" (by Joe De Marco book), I think to run 1 single project is 1000 times better than more at the same time. Remember to use the 301 redirect as Jormungand told you.

If that is the case, and niches are similar as you said, I would add content from site 2 to site 1 and do permanent 301 redirection and that will do it just fine. This is actual legit use of 301 in this case.

I think if you place internal links within your web page , It will give more link juice.
