Movie/tv streaming cms

I've been looking into hosting a tv show/movie streaming service somewhat like putlocker for a while. I've come across a few "streaming scripts" that claim to be an all-in-one package. These packages say that they can auto import movies/shows from a database and make them streamable. I'll be using an offshore host but was wondering how big of a plan I should buy?

Have any of you guys used any of the cms I'm interested in. I don't know if I can post their website links here but their names are "mTDB", and "123streamcms". The 123streamcms looks pretty solid, and are basically clones of other popular sites along with a huge database of shows included.

Is there anything I should be careful of when making a site like this? I just want to have a simple site and slap some ads on it to make a tiny bit of income monthly.

You are a newbie to this forum but I don't know whether you are a newbie in internet marketing too.
And if you are then just walk away from this idea. I'm not trying to demotivate you but this is one of the most competitive niche I the website world. Also you are streaming pirated movies without producers permission so you are breaking the law as well.
You will purchase offshore hosting that is ok but still you will be traceable you may have remember what happened to the owner of kickass torrent, it was one of the biggest torrent site.
In your new to IM you should start things lightly and learn from your experience instead of jumping in the deeper areas.

Thanks for the advice. I did end up making the site, but in a way which it is legal. Now I just need to figure out how to drive traffic to it and get some ad clicks.

so can you name better script?

You will get many scripts on codecanyon and you will get extended support by paying them too
