Movie sites suspended?

I own a movie site and was just browsing some high ranking competitors on google and I noticed many of them now have this message when you visit the site:

hxxp://w3.thepiratecity.0rg/index.html

This is kind of scary knowing that all these sites did was provide links to movies and did not host any....

I dont host any videos either...but should I be worried

if I were you, I'd close down my site, I have seen too many movie sites go down by the gov.

Are you showing unlicensed stuff?

The main problem is that there is a package that puts up niche sites, but the only niche it seems to put up is a movie niche, and there are bloody hundreds of identical sites (well near identical).
If it's something to do with that site generators "footprint" then you might have a problem. (and it might explain why so many sites are down at once)

[EDIT] Just been to a few sites in another tab. Strange. Still listed in G - but just a 404 or similar when you open them up. Seems a widespread issue. (I have dozens of movie sites bookmarked - I love movies)

Hope your site is ok mate - lots seem to be down. even my fave M - Madness site is down. Strange......

Is this also the reason why some movie sites were down for a few days about 2 weeks ago, even if u just provide links u can get nailed?

One of my friends was saying he quit one of his sites which also provided links to torrents were to download the files he got a very unpleasant letter stating he either closed down his site or he got sued for $150k. So, in total fear, he shut his video and online website totally down.

I think it's a tricky business

Get a Webmoney account
Get a Russian domain and pay with Webmoney
Get 2x2 hosting

Now you need to worry about your money trail if you are using ads / adsense. Make sure you connect through a VPN hosted in CN and sign up for these sites. Also make sure your email is either mail.ru or other russian hosted email domains.

Your next worry is how to cash out - The moneytrail. You can either use your friend's account (or your own0 who will just have to play dumb in court and not know how in the world a good samaritan put his money into his account.

When feds start asking questions about you on to Russian people..watch how they'll ignore and give them the middlefinger
