Movie Site - 500 UV suggestions

Hi everyone, I have been lurking around the forum for a week or so.. and I wanted to get some suggestions regarding a website (my first and only) that I made a month ago. Bare in mind, I am a newb. SEO is something I am figuring out as I am going along. Currently my site is registered with Godaddy, and hosted with ixhosting. What worries me, is that the content of my site (movie links) will get me jailed.. especially in light of the recent crack downs.

One question that I have is, Do I run a high risk of being shut down, and are there any steps you'd recommend to prevent that if so?

Currently the site is averaging about 500 unique visits per day. I have only 28 backlinks to my site.. and I am considering purchasing Xrumer to help. ( most of my traffic has been through YouTube)



My current strategy is to continue promoting, and possibly purchase xrumer so that this site can see enough traffic to make some money. In your opinions, is my site doomed to begin with? Would you consider this sucessful so far? Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

edit - I should mention, that its more heavily concentrated on tv shows and anime, rather then the "newest" movies. I have avoided included still in movie theater movies for now

Don't host any content on your servers and post a clear DMCA policy. You should be fine, and that's what a lot of us here have been doing.

how would you say my site is comparing to other 1 month old sites (of similar genre)? Do these types of sites ever become worth selling? I am only making like 60 cents a day with adbrite
