Movie recap channel question

Hello!
There are a lot of channels like this:

https://www.youtube.com/@mysteryrecappedofficial https://www.youtube.com/@movierecapsofficial
I don't understand why they have so much growth and so many subscribers.
They have no tags. These videos don't have titles that people can use to find it . They don't usually write the names of the movies.
As far as I know their ctr is not that high (in the range of 5-10%)
I have found channels with similar content, but the views there were in the range of 50-100 for each video

Any thoughts?

If I love to watch movies, I would subscribe to this channel to explore new movies and watch the ones I like.

That's why they have so many subscribers.

I have seen such channels and love to watch those videos.

But -- Is it legal? They often spoil the plot too. Also, can they monetise videos?

The traffic source is mainly external (Facebook groups, websites...). Then youtube recommends the video to a similar audience.
Though the stats can be fake with buying views.

The answer is simple. Most people these days have very little attention span and they have very less time. This is the reason shorts are getting more popular. Similarly in channels like these you can get the important parts of a 2–3-hour movie in just 10 minutes.

I may not have described it clearly enough.
I did a little research - found a channel with similar content, he had a very good start, the video got 2 million views and he regularly posted. But his latest videos get 100-200 views (https://www.youtube.com/@MoviesBlast)

What's wrong - he got a shadow ban ? What might be the reason ? What could be the reason that the channels from my first post were regularly gaining millions of views, and he has only one such video ?
