Moved servers now I'm having issues publishing posts in WP??

Wordpress publishing issue.

I'm sure its a server setting somewhere that I'm missing, but its driving me crazy.

When I paste in a 1000 word article into the editor and hit publish only 53 words get published? This is happening on a bone stock wordpress site with no plugins/themes/mods etc.

Anyone ever experienced this?

I moved the files over from my old server to the new server and imported the database. All seemed fine until I went to publish posts.

My server is a simple linux vps with cpanel.

Wow thIs has really turned into a level#1 pain in the freakin ace. Who would think a simply thing like copy and paste would shut down my whole operation.

Its racking my brain.

Hmm..
I don't think this happens most of time...Did u take backup? why don't try to restore it.If still doesn't work.Add me on skype.

Try re-installing wordpress, it normally helps.

I guess, its kinda late but just in case, if you haven't figured out this yet....

Check exactly where the article gets truncated. It should either be an apostropy (') or some special character which couldn't get saved and hence, the article gets truncated.

This has happened to me earlier and atleast, that's what I found. I am not sure if this is going to be the same with you though.

If you're copying form Word, try pasting into WordPress using the "Paste from Word" option on the Kitchen Sink menu.

Make sure in Settings>General your site URL is accurate.

Double check your wp-config.Php and wp-setting, make sure your new url setup correctly there
