Here?s how it works:

The preview comment button on movable type blogs uses the POST method but search engines require the GET method to index a URL. So, what you need to do is:

1. Download the firefox extension webmaster tools to convert the POST forms to GET forms.

2. Find Movable type blogs.

3. Open The ?preview Comment? in a new window.

4. Convert the POST Form to a GET Form like this:
Convert.gif

5. Fill out comment however you like.

6. Press preview comment.

7. Instead of producing a url like this:

http://www.baseballmusings.com/cgi-bin/mt/mt-comments-pinto.cgi

it will produce a URL like this (images used for formating purposes):
link1.gif

The links on the produced pages are NOT nofollow.

8. Now, you may want to use a service like tinyurl or a redirect to hide what you are doing (not required)

9. Ping that URL to the Search Engines in splog posts, guestbooks, or however you think best.

this was straight jacked from here:

Please dont publish work that is not yours!

You didn't even include a search string to help find exploitable MT blogs;
inurl:mt-comments
or
inurl:mt-comments site:.edu

Thanks, please post credit where credit is due

first of all i did not say it was mine and secondly if you knew about this why did you not post it to the forum so our members could see it, and just for the icing on the cake i do not know who to say thank you to, and one more thing this is a sharing site we can publish whatever we want as long as it does not hurt our MEMBERS , also why are you posting live links to other forums , i believe that is against the RULES , MODS go get him lmfao

dude you cut and pasted directly...

I DO THANK you for sharing this 2006 exploit, however you should have started off something like; I found this here, I was searching around and found this, or a least tried to expand upon it.

Why not just cut and paste all the exploits from Milw0rm here?

maybe quite simply because i was working and found it by chance and posted it , now if i have to write an essay explaining everything i do to help the forum i shall NOT so instead of moaning and being a do gooder buddy , get posting usefull things for our MEMBERS instead of whinging you copy and paste

Well good posts and credits to Quadzilla @ http://seoblackhat.com

HaHa, that's some wild shit! I got a backlink from a bunch of edu blogs, including Har*vard!

Cheers HaRRo i did not even remember where i got it from thanks Quadzilla from the the forum , man these do gooders do my head in

lol -- people that post stuff they didn't find themselves/do themselves/think themselves do my head in too -- it wouldn't take but two seconds to put the source (i mean, after all, you had enough time to copy your source's source and omit certain lines--that's apparent because the image files are the ones from the source site...heck even the source site is kind enough to site their source) or to even put, 'i found this'....wow 3 whole words (small ones at that)...that was a lot of time.... bet if the previous mate hadn't pointed out the 'slip', you woulda gladly taken the time to take the 'thanks' no? of course you did not claim this resource as yours, but you sure didn't claim it wasn't yours so don't play all holy on that fact (especially since as already illustrated, 3 extra words is not so time consuming). sure this is an information sharing source and information is not bad, but at least have the balls to credit the authors. geesh. people still give 'thanks' for that too yanno (heck may even get more thanks for being so forward).
