I would say not worth the trouble at the moment. Sure it looks nicer but it's less responsive, menus are made touch friendly by hiding advanced features behind more menus.
Also I was using an ASUS soundcard which was fine for years on Win10, but turns out it stopped working on Win11 and they haven't released compatible drivers and probably never will, so had to change my card lol...
Once you remove the internet search results from the search functionality and move the taskbar to the left, you probably won't notice a huge difference aside from compatibility issues.
Also File Explorer now has tab functionality which is epic (middle mouse on folder to open in new tab).

Wow... That something like this can happen is an absolute no go for me. Even if it is fixed.. my laptop was not that cheap to fck around with something like this...
Alright... I will definitely keep Win 10. I've never heard in general of these problems with Win XP or anything.
Of course in the past after a good OS there was one that was bs and that was every time. 1 good OS 1 bad and so on. But that was more on the side of the OS itself afaik.
That it can destroy the battery or in your case not provide the right drivers is new to me....

If you want compatibility you should stay on Window 10 but if you want security and new features, then it's safe to move on Windows 11. Although, it uses more resources given that it's latest version of windows if your PC/Laptop have the sufficient resources to spare then you can go ahead and install windows 11.
