Move to Windows 11?

I moved to Windows 11 about 6 months ago and I've had no trouble. The OS seems stable - no crashes at all here and I leave my computer on for weeks at a time.

I’ve had windows 11 for about a month now and I can say I haven’t had any problems with it. I actually prefer windows 11 over windows 10 I wasn’t really a big fan of windows 10.

little edit here: I also want to add that I feel like windows 11 is way more cleaner and feels way more better than windows 10.
 
Using 11 since insider preview (or smth like that, i forgot how it's called), don't have any problems with it. If you're found disturbing "Start menu" in the center of task panel - you can move it back to corner. No risk in Win11, i think.
 
Only issue I had was the Shitty taskbar with No Drag and drop feature.
The feature was added in recent update and it seems fine now.

Also, it takes some time to get used to the new right click menu.
 
Yes - it is great. I use it since release and love it. You can move the start menu to the left if you prefer it this way. I personally have an ultrawide monitor and love it in the middle. I experienced no bugs in my daily use so far.
 
I am using Win11 for a few months now, had no issues and I like the interface better than the Win10
 
i still use windows 10. i don't see any reason why i need to update to 11 .
why you want to update anyway?
 
Against all expectations, it is curious to see the number of people using W11 happily nowadays. I also think it's a good time to switch.

For those that are happy since Early adoption, (Insiders edition), don't take their advices into consideration. W11 has been extremely dismissed and criticized by any single expert out there with perfect reasons, until "two days" ago. Those who were happy since Insiders, are also happy with the balls of Satya in their mouth.

I would never try a single beta product for free (at least a corp. product) unless it has a bleeding-edge tech that could make my business happy (something like GPT). But a beta/unstable OS? Are we crazy? People has loss their files and had ended with a useless OS, in many of the first updates out of the blue.

My only concern nowadays with W11 is the TPM 2.0 that any of my computers have. One day, Microsoft goes crazy and blocks updates and it will be a major drawback. But if I had TPM 2.0 I would have been in W11 like 3 months ago probably (since 22H2). Without TPM 2.0 I would wait until EOL of W10
 
I am not upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11, until Microsoft finally decides to thrust Windows 11 down every Windows 10 user's throat(s) and that is obviously bound to happen soon.
 
I like the taskbar in center and the icons of Windows 11. No issues. It is faster too.
 
I did upgrade a while ago from 10 to 11 and I haven't noticed many problems, overall I'd say my "upgrading" went fine, the only issue I have is for whatever reason I cannot scroll through imagine via previewing them anymore where-as windows 10 all media related default products worked superb.
 
So many good reviews about Windows 11.. I never wanted to upgrade to 11 because I never saw any real difference between 10 and 11, but since people here mostly saying it is good and they have almost no issues with Win 11 I'll give it a try.
 
I've upgraded to Windows 11, 2 months ago . All is ok and smooth but I don't like Windows 11 GUI .
 
For me, it depends. If you have a new PC, it's worth switching. If you have an older one, like me... Well, I'm waiting for Microsoft to release an LTSC version of Win11, which would be a good indication that it's time to switch. Using a custom Win10 LTSC build so far with lots of tweaks (older Start menu, O&O tweaks pack, Spectre/Meltdown vulnerability patches removed, turned off updates as well). But maybe it's just me :D

It ruined my battery from 5 hour life to 30 min life within 2 days. Later, I switched back to Windows 10 that very week but... my battery already deteriorated and won't go back to pre-Windows 11.

Now I am with windows 10, got a good battery + CMOS battery. Back to my usual 5-7 hours life like I first bought my Laptop.

No thanks, I am okay with Windows 10 forever.
